Context & Objectives
The newly launched marketplace was seeking a solution for consumers to be able to buy a car online with a downpayment.
They created Carmarket.ch, an independent and reliable online car market offering a complete range of immediately available and professionally tested vehicles.
The client looked to create a marketplace for consumers to be able to reserve the purchase of a vehicle.
With strict requirements such as:
Large amount of dealerships/merchants to be onboarded in a short time frame
Traditional payment means (Credit Cards and TWINT)
Services provided
→ Regular payouts and weekly reporting of transactions per merchant
→ Opening of a segregated bank account with a FINMA-licensed Swiss Bank, dedicated to the operation of the Marketplace
→ Handling of payments as directed by the marketplace platform for marketplace commission and merchants
→ Performing KYC/KYB on merchants as per legal requirements
